ADOR LOW ALLOY STEEL ELECTRODES (4 PACKETS/CASE)
Description:
ADOR Low Alloy Steel Electrodes are high-performance shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) electrodes specially formulated for welding high-strength low alloy (HSLA) steels. These electrodes produce tough, crack-resistant welds with excellent mechanical properties, making them ideal for critical structural applications in demanding environments.
Key Features:
✔ High Tensile Strength: Designed for HSLA steels requiring ≥70,000 psi (500 MPa) tensile strength.
✔ Impact Toughness: Maintains strength even in low-temperature conditions (down to -40°C).
✔ Low Hydrogen Coating: Minimizes hydrogen-induced cracking (HIC) in thick sections.
✔ Smooth Arc Performance: Stable arc with low spatter for clean, high-quality welds.
✔ X-Ray Quality Welds: Suitable for pressure vessels, bridges, and offshore structures.
Applications:
Heavy Construction: Cranes, bridges, and high-rise buildings.
Oil & Gas Industry: Pipelines, storage tanks, and drilling equipment.
Mining & Earthmoving: Excavator buckets, bulldozer blades.
Power Plants & Pressure Vessels: Boilers, heat exchangers.
Shipbuilding & Marine Structures: Hulls, decks, and offshore platforms.
